 Ouarzazate

Ouarzazate is a quiet province with wide streets, many hotels and gardens. It is at an altitude of 1160m and at the intersection of Valley Dràa and Dade. You may find it interesting to visit the Oasis ends wherever south of Ouarzazate which the in-ksours Pisa. There is also the Casbah of Taourirt that was built in the 18th century and renovated in 1994, you can find the Krupp guns of land that have been used by Glaoui to secure power.
      You can also visit the Atlas film studios that are six kilometers outside Ouarzazate. This is a large workshop covering about 30,000 m chunk of desert. It is open to the public on most days and you may even be able to catch a glimpse of the filming of several movies. There were films like Lawrence of Arabia, Star Wars, Gladiator and that were filmed here in part or full. It is also popular place for movies that require the desert scenes.
You can also make a trip to the dam's reservoir El-Mansour Eddahbi built in 1972 and provides permanent irrigation for palm groves and agricultural land around. It is also a major source for the reforestation program that was started in the region. It is a major source of electricity generation to provide electricity to the valley. You can visit the market for shopping but you might find a little more expensive than other parts of Morocco. 
   However, the recently restored Artisans Copérative worth a visit. Ouarzazate is well known for its pottery and carpets as well as its cultural splendor. You can also visit the nearby towns of Ait Ben Haddou, Zagora or plane trip through the valley of Dràa. 
     You can even find delicious dining at Chez Dimitri restaurant serving pasta and large salads. You can find many hotels to accommodate and safely enjoy the traditional Moroccan food they offer. There is a display of Moroccan singing and dancing with groups of women in traditional dress.
